It's really depressing the NFL had to go woke

Sport is (was) such a good way for us to all be able to set aside our political and religious beliefs, and support something together. Socialize, get wasted, watch tanks run into each other at full speed.

They didnโ€™t have to. They choose to. NFL could be hard right, hard left, moderate, completely apolitical and people would still consume as gambling/FF are a multibillion dollar business and thrive without โ€œfansโ€.

I think of them all as numbers now since politics ruined it. If it doesnโ€™t impact my fantasy team, donโ€™t care if the players literally die on the field

That's the thing. It's not even about ratings, viewership, anything. They could have kept it all out, and it would be the same or even higher. They chose it for political gain. Who knows the kind of chit that goes behind those doors.

Same way they act woke but have a bunch of criminals on the payroll.

It's simply capitalism ๐Ÿ˜„ every move organizations like the NFL, NBA, etc. make is a result of people analyzing what will net them the most profit ๐Ÿ˜‚

Guess what, the kneeling thing gave them free publicity and reach to people that never watched football before ๐Ÿค” all while existing football fans still kept watching ๐Ÿ˜„ so why would they not keep it up ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘

They know men who hate woke will tolerate it and just mildly complain. But there was more potential gain with women viewers. As with most any organization they don't actually give a flying fuk about pfhaggy and woke stuff, they used focus groups to figure out which direction to go, which would get more ad dollars.

I agree brother. Used to enjoy football and sports up until they started honoring a ******** drug addict that assaulted women and people started kneeling for the National anthem and the media supported it.

Now I donโ€™t watch any sports. Too woke. Too many messages.
