You're basically saying that he must show evidence of possession AFTER the play is technically over. That is what makes absolutely no sense.

brb you're out of bounds but WAIT you also need to show you possess it an extra 5 seconds AFTER you're ruled out of bounds for us to consider it complete.... uhh... what????

Out of bounds should = play dead. If it's not moving before that, to call it incomplete after the fact is beyond stupid.
