No one really every cared until they became antagonistic bullies in 2015. Within a couple weeks of gay marriage being legalized in all 50 states Kaitlyn Jenner was on the cover of Vanity Fair, and then the practically non-existent tranny issue was thrust onto the scene. It's an astroturf movement, completely synthetic. It has ruined countless lives in its wake. When they started demanding removal of gendered language, control of how you speak, and they began targeting kids as young as toddlers, encouraging them to be trannies too - that's when people said fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuk you.

It's been co-opted by political extremist groups and kid diddlers, so that's not doing it any good. The political attachments are fake. It isn't a political issue but was made one by subversives using trannies as a tool for undermining society.
