why's it so hard to believe that aliens could get here?
only two major problems to solve are radiation and time
humans already came up with theoretical ships tosolve the time problem (faster than light travel). a superior alien race couldn't build it or something better?
a superior alien race can't build adequate radiation shielding?

You're talking about the difference between conceptualizing vs believing. Those are 2 different things gs.
It'd be less hard to believe if it was like futurama and aliens were commonly everywhere or SOMEthing
But until then it's a concept and the concept is perfectly acceptable

I don’t believe it’s possible for physical matter to travel through any type of bending of space/time without becoming completely compromised. Such is physical existence. But My dreams can travel the cosmos.

What’s hard to believe is that the government denied the possibility for decades and gaslit anyone who said it was possible. And now alll of the sudden several times a week they’re teasing ayylmaos. They can’t be trusted and if there’s news of aliens now it is surely fake.
Broke both legs and ankles crew.

I’m sure they exist. But these things that we’ve shot down are not them. A civilization so advanced that it could handle traveling at light speed, or beyond (we can’t comprehend their tech if they can travel through space like this), or however the hell they cover such vast distances wouldn’t get shot down by something we have.
Their tech might as well be magic to us.
