A lady asked me if I was gonna wipe down a machine i was on srs

There were other machines available but she specifically waited for mine. I said I didn't even sweat on it and walked away as she rolled her eyes

Who was right?

The people who care about sweat usually wipe down the benches/machines before they use them. So why would I wipe it down after im done if they are just gonna wipe it down anyway?

And if they do care but want someone else to wipe it down for them, well they can deal with it and learn to wipe it down themselves before use.

I'm usually a wiper but since she was so eager to use mine I let her have it plus my lack of sweat

The only time I ever wipe equipment off is before use. And only if I can make eye contact with the person who just left the machine. When they look at me, I raise my eyebrows and hold my mouth open, obnoxiously pointing with both hands to the machine. When they get confused, I whip my towel out and obnoxiously wipe the machine down.
