If you could go back to age 12 and re-live your life differently

What changes would you make as far as fitness is concerned? What choices would you make that you didn’t make before?

I think I’d do push-ups until I could do sets of 50, then move on to weight training with adjustable dumbbells. Eventually, I would buy a barbell and triceps bar, and lots of weight plates.

And you can’t use future knowledge for financial gain, that’s the rule you’re given by the entity that allows you to go back and live your life differently

In height, or muscle size?

At 12 all I was doing was video games. Sims, RuneScape, Nintendo

I’d take lifting and fitness seriously from the jump. Play sports in high school. Stay single all throughout college. Slay sloots

Fitness is irrelevant at that age. As far that goes, it’s never to late to change your fitness goals.

nothing. i was a chubby kid growing up and i hated it, so by the time i was age 12 i was already doing pushups and situps all the time. joined my first gym at age 14 but didn't last long because i did cross country/track in highschool.

by age 17 i joined a gym again and been lifting on/off since.

There's plenty of things that I could be doing now to improve and I don't bother to do them. There's no way a 12 year old me would do them either.

I would have gotten into weight lifting waaaay earlier. I got into cardio relatively early so that was a good habit that stuck with me. If I get to keep my current weight lifting knowledge, I'd be jacked af long before 20 vs getting into shape late 20s

I'd also never get into drinking. I already got into that later than all my peers, but wish I'd stayed the course I was on.

I'd prioritize getting good sleep and adequate nutrition. I'd lay off action sports (wake-boarding, snowboarding, skateboarding) and prioritize gymnastics then bodybuilding style workouts. At around 21 I'd probably move into anabolic steroids (low dose cycles) instead of waiting until nearly 30.

But mainly the most important thing is Juice earlier in life.

Focus more on form. I'm paying for it now but could get away with it in my teens and 20s.

I would have increased my cardio by having sex with more girls in HS

Who knows, maybe I would never have ended up on a gay bodybuilding forum trying men if I had done it different back then.

If only fitness related I would have started running track a few years earlier. I didn't start until I was 15 and was running at states (NY) at age 16. A few extra years experience and I'd have gone even farther. Instead of 200/400 I'd have concentrated on 400/800.

I started lifting at 14. If I could go back in time, I'd focus on escaping poverty sooner. If I could have my 30 year old mind when I was 12, I'd be retired by now.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I would buy 100,000 bitcoins in 2012, then cell 75% when it hit $63,000

I actually wouldn’t change anything else about my life lol well, I guess I could work even harder in my field, and become better at a younger age,

Nope.

Because I'd still have to live from age 12-18 under the same restrictions that hindered my personal development in the first place.

I didn’t start lifting until college, and it made a big difference then, so I’d start earlier, like sophomore year of HS. Would looksmaxx in HS and be less of a shy dork so that HS and subsequently college would have been more enjoyable.

Also would enjoy more time with my mom since I didn’t foresee her getting a rare disease and dying so early.
