Whenever we go out on a date me and my gf will end up at a pub downing beers. After a few drinks she's loose enough for me to mention a slap on the pokies/slot machines without my idea being rejected. I'm an aggressive (alpha) gambler by nature and will always double down to win back any losses.

For example if im down $200 I won't stop there, I will deposit another $100 into a new machine and up the bet. This strategy usually allows me to recover and almost always walk away with a nice profit. However when my gf is with me, she will physically stop me from gambling past a certain point and I never get to win back my losses. It's really getting to me, our last 3 dates im down over 1k because I don't get the opportunity to play the machines for several hours to recover my losses. Also I'm pretty sure her grabbing my wallet and restraining me from depositing cash into the pokies is a form of domestic violence, however I would never want her charged with any crime ofcourse.

I'm starting to think the way we view finances could be a deal breaker for the relationship as she seems happy for me to lose money and walk away from the machines. Anyone else in a similar situation and how did you overcome differences in financial views?
