if you knew immediately it would probably have a pretty big effect.

but there is a good chance you are in deep by the time you find out, then I don't know how I would react.

It stinks

The ostomy is literally the bowels sutured to the skin

You can see (and obviously smell) the chit in the bag

The bag can fall off

The skin around the hole can get irritated and infected

Her actual anus/rectum will probably be sealed off or sewed shut

It also means she had some sort of aggressive bowel disease and/or didn't take care of herself. Huge red flags.

As someone who's had an ileostomy, that's a bag the small bowel is hooked up to, rather than a colostomy, that's a bag the large bowel is connected to, I'm gonna have to nope on that. The bag is impossible to ignore unless you have some kind of belt you put it in. Even then you have to be careful not to put pressure on it, etc.

And you have no control over what goes into the bag, literally no control except to time your eating. If the bag comes off or for some reason or gets full, you've got to attend to it immediately. I guess doggie style would be the best option in a girl with a bag scenario.
