There typically aren't a bunch of apes shutting down roads if that's what you're asking. That is more prevalent in chitholes like Philadelphia. There is law and order there. But it's still a large, populated city. I personally don't go there unless it's for a special occasion like a game or something. I don't like driving there bc the traffic and roads suck. Better to take the Brightline high-speed train, visit and go home.

That being said, places like Tampa, Sarasota and the Palm Beaches are much nicer and more laid back. Many Floridians consider Miami a different country srs

Miami traffic is a nightmare already. The city just wasn't built for the growth it's seen. Literally the majority of Miami residents are foreign born, it's just a zoo with the gates left open

Miami is a latin american city. Florida anywhere north of WPB (excluding the Metro-Orlando and Central Tampa area) is a distinctly southern state. It's like you have a different country inside the US borders. If you're in Gainesville and you think you understand what Florida is and then you travel to Miami you might think you've gone crazy.

We've built a society that not only tolerates this behavior but encourages it...

How does it encourage it? If you stop a road to act like a clown and inconvenience everyone , nothing will happen to you. If you get out and clear the road and inconvenience a single one of them, you will end up in jail.

The unruly are ignored while the just are penalized.

I've seen this once before in Tampa, but not a chance they could shut down 275 or 75. 5/0 would be all over their ass. They've managed to temporarily hold up traffic at a downtown intersection coming outa Ybor, and thats about it. Perhaps 200 bikers & quads. Usually as long as the weird **** is kept to Ybor, the city doesn't care. If it starts shaking out to downtown, they wont be having that ****.
