Are video games harder now or do i just suck?

im almost bout 35

i got xbox and gamepass. ive been playing FPS games all my life. but todays games seem way harder. farcry 5, batman arkham knight, halo infinite, doom eternal. all these games got me frustrated on normal gameplay. dying constantly. i have to switch to easy to get anywhere. the aiming, the constant moving, the in depth tree skills.... they are just to hard for casuals. i member beating the first 3 halos on legendary now im dying 20+ times on the first couple levels of infinate on normal? LOL!

even single player BF5 on normal is hard AF!

I gave up on fps about 5 weeks ago

All of them suck @ss and are cartoonish

the last great fps game was pubg and that's dead and gone

I beat the game as a kid. Dad helped some. I failed most side quests, and failed finding most of the chalices though. This one set me up to be a long term gamer, srs. It's funny, I got the remastered PS5 version when it came out, and it was such a laughable cake walk lol, almost got completionist but didn't wanna do the additional content that they added to it (though it seemed innovative).

Videogames have never been easier if you play on regular difficulty. Back in the 90s you had to start the whole fukin game over if you ran out of continues.

Just started replaying Quake on epic games, and yes newer games are a lot harder/more controls. It's probably the same way people who grew up on atari felt when they saw pc games for the first time.

I still need to get the remaster but have a huge backlog of games to play

I played star wars fallen jedi and I had to set the difficulty mode to story mode (srs) because the combat was too difficult for me
Best lifts:
Bench press: 315x5
Squat: 465x1
Strict press: 205x5
Deadlift: 405x13 (conv tap'n'go with straps)

You don't suck and the games you described aren't hard. It sounds like you aren't taking the time to get over the learning curve of those games, srs.

Multiplayer games on the other hand...have gotten way more sweaty. Apex Legends, COD, Battlefield, etc.
