Try not to do things that aggravate it, gonna depend on how you do your lifts so hard to say exactly which things to avoid. Skullcrushers come to mind as something to stop doing, maybe.

If it were me I would focus on compounds only and ditch isolation work or anything that bothers it. Rest, ice and ibuprofen. A compression sleeve might be a good idea as well.

This is why most people never get anywhere in the gym....

Not going out of my way to be a dick (it just comes natural).. But how the fk would anybody but you know which movements aggravate YOUR injury? There are are so many variations of lifts with different positions & movements. Do some research , stop being a pu$$y (and I mean that in the nicest possible way)... and get the fk in there and literally start going through the motions...

Oh that one sucks... DONT DO IT...

Ok , this one isnt too bad.. maybe I can modify my grip and pull / push from this angle etc. etc...

Everybody wants to get big but nobody wants to actually put in the effort & consistency required.

Interesting approach. How would you go about identifying which compound aggravates it?

No worries brah, I appreciate the brutal honesty and don’t take it personally. What if I don’t get pain during the movements, but afterwards, how would you identify which compound worsens it? Trial and error?

I am curious what they said, just in case this happens to me.

I would try to stick with the lifts that don't really involve much triceps. You gotta play around with it.

Further to that, position plays a large part in this for many people.

Instead of using the tricep bar, use the EZ bar with a wider grip (the grip you use for doing bicep curls, not the centre bit) and keep your shoulders, elbows and wrists forming near parallel lines.

The way your elbow moves when you have a narrow grip for skullcrushers aggravates the tendons far more, as does neutral grip.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.

They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

Stop loading your triceps in a position they aren’t meant to bend (e.g skullcrushers, they’re terrible on your elbows). Instead, start doing pushdowns, single arm preferably , through a proper movement path. Look up Ben Yanes on insta, he does a good job over explaining movements. You dont need to be that anal about it
