Is Bringing Kenny in to do a High Profile Job for Champ Cody a good Idea?

is that a $$ drawing match/program?

kenny would be almost useless in wwe once that program was over imo, but i think he'd be a good contender for champ cody. it's a good story. like who else are you gonna throw at him first? finn jobber? aj styles? seth rollins again? lashley? kenny omega seems like a more compelling story, but i'm also on the smarker end of the spectrum.

what do you think?

Hope if Harpo is a free agent that WWE make no offer for him-would show just how overrated he is by himself, Tony, Jericho, Bucks etc & Dave & his deluded cult.

How much of the WWE audience would even know who he is for that to work?

Catering to hardcore super fans has worked soooo well for AEW...

I think MJF will be a much bigger 'get' for WWE in 2024 than Omega here, then or anytime.

Omega is what he is. I don't think he adapted, mixed anything up, tried anything new or showed any growth as a character or performer his whole time in AEW. He is super athletic and can work a big Japanese-style match when given 30-60 minutes, the right opponent and without the undercard guys blowing his chance to shine by doing everything he's going to attempt in the opening match (just a little more recklessly and sloppily).

So, WWE might utilize him a bit better, focus on what makes him pretty good but after awhile they will give up in frustration with him, as AEW should have done awhile back. He simply has not shown willingness or aptitude to adapt to an American audience or a product that puts out 52 weekly shows in a year. Book him 30 minutes with PAC and he'll go out there and pretend it's the Super Dome. Book him 60 minutes with Bryan Danielson and he'll go out there and pretend it's the Super Dome. Book him 15 with Joey Janela and he'll go out and pretend it's the Super Dome.

Goofy comedy when he should be serious, overdone spots, too much constantly, giving away big matches on free TV, it all just doesn't add up.

MJF will adapt within seconds of arriving in WWE and change his style, which in his case is not much of a change - just a tweak here and there - but instantly he will work exactly the way WWE wants a guy like him to work.

Max is a perfect fit. Omega is a square peg in a round hole.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I think if you bring omega in you have to have faith in him and give him a chance to adapt, AJ Styles method.

I'm not even really a fan of Omega but there is ZERO reason he couldn't adapt to the "wwe style".

Adapting to the WWE style they have now isn't hard, this isn't a lazy wcw guy coming in proving he can up the workrate to wwe levels, it's the other way round.

I like Kenny Omega, he is an exciting talent. If he ended up in WWE, I will definitely watch.

Some dream feuds/matches:

Kenny Omega vs. Brock Lesnar
Kenny Omega vs. Roman Reigns
Kenny Omega vs. Seth Rollins
Kenny Omega vs. Bray Wyatt
Kenny Omega vs. John Cena

Read title and thought you wanted Kenny Dykstra from The Spirit Squad to come back to face the champion lol.

If Cody Rhodes does win the title, his SummerSlam opponent will be Randy Orton most likely (if he isn't injured), makes for an easy story that writes itself.

It absolutely is. He’s the best in the world not to wrestle in wwe. I seen he and triple h have met. Clearly he could have a job in wwe. Omega made himself a huge name and he’s free to bring it down their ramp any time.

Best at what? That embarrassment of aDome mach vs Ostrich showed he has no idea how to construct a match & is totally reliant on great workers like Okada & Bryan to map them out for him & lead him by his nose.

At not fearing too many barbwire spots

The ending pyro sucked. But the match was pure awe.

I think like how they used Austin Theory to bring awareness to Johnny Gargano's introduction from NXT they would just do that and build up to it by having Kenny do awesome, but he shouldn't be rushed into the title right away it should be a yearlong buildup.

The reason Omega sucks is that he can't talk, and he also can't do a compelling short match. The guy is a one trick pony that needs a 30 minute plus match in order to look good.
