I shorted ESH this morning and made +7,500 in less than 15 minutes.

This year yes, don't trade everyday only pick and choose. Also its slow process there is big margin requirements to trade es futures. (need $200K minimum to play in this)

I stopped trading all kinds of shiit just down to 3 products atm.

only.

SP 500 futures (ES) contracts

sometimes SPX index options and when need to yolo spy (cause cheap)

primary is ESH futures (with micros MES if some scary stuff up like cpi / nfp / fomc)

1 ESH contract is the equivalent roughly buying 500 shares of SPY say today and than 15 minutes sell it for profit. (vice versa short 500 shares of spy etc)


Also with sp 500 futures there is no PDD rules.

You can scalp / do whatever.

Hell can put on position Sunday evening when futures open and sell before RTH Monday opens.

Only barrier is you need to have big account and if god forbid something black swan happens and you have stops (which get blown out) you getting smoked.

Can lose $200K in few minutes and boom done.

No longer have the short position, but I still would never own WBA. Their pharmacy business is an unprofitable legacy sector. They are trying to flee their core business to become a clinic/urgent care provider. It’s not a synergistic move they want out of pharmacy. They have a truckload of liabilities from opioid dispensing to the tune of like 3 or 5B yearly (don’t remember which). I think they are gonna end up like Ford with a cash crunch when borrowing hits peak interest rates. Opioid liability, dividend, and the purchasing expense for clinics will come back to haunt them in terms of cash flow and balance sheet. All of this is just imo.

I was just looking at their financials earlier and it did put me off to them

So far the best looking one's to me that I've read up on are EPD / MMP both over 7% dividends / charts seem like its an okay entry point

Apple is up 85% since the pandemic. Maybe that makes sense as inflation is = higher prices = record profits, but you'd think that needs to unwind for us to get through the Fed QT.

China risks? Taiwan?


I dunno, not something I follow closely but would have a hard time buying what's not far off from the ATH after a big run especially considering the starting point. Apple has a pile of cash they can plow into buybacks, but it's not a huge pile compared to a $2.35trillion valuation

Went pretty big on long term OTM poots on 2/2 at the top. Just waiting out the decline, got like 2 months left til expiry already up 100%. QQQ $270 is around 4-5 bagger for me

According to CME data, a 50 point hike is now at 33% probability. Today's inflation report being dookie-ish, along with Dimon's remarks, no doubt contributing to the probability pump.

The market is relentlessly optimistic and the Fed has been optimistic, forecasts are so frequently optimistic in general right up until reality needs to be acknowledged

Who knows, we could still see a 6-handle before this is said and done

I could see the Fed tacking on more 25 point hikes than people thought to ratchet up higher and longer, but I don't think they'll want to reverse course and increase the size of the bump after they started cooling down.

But guess we'll find out.
