i'm not even sure what FEMA did here.
power company handled downed lines.
local fire departments provided shelter and volunteers were running snowmobiles to get people or bring them supplies.

A complete and total fabrication, a made up fairy tale by EZmac, by a dude that knows nothing and makes chitty assumptions.

A chemical spill/fire requires, not old presidents on the scene, but the proper officials from the state, the train owners and safety experts from the company, and the proper federal agencies to asses what needs to be done asap.
My assumption is that agency folks did not want the chemical exposure and delayed their immediate response in order to not be exposed to Carcinogenic elements.
No one said or implied ignoring any fkn thing, gtfoh with that nonsense.

Just that the company should pay...... since it is their fuk up!

Everyone bitching about FEMA doesn't seem to know what they do, but it's right there in the name of the agency.

They are a management agency, i.e. administrators. They make phone calls and fill out paperwork. They don'tdoanything beyond that.
FEMA's Fundamental Role:

Our Agency is one player on a large team collaborating to build a more resilient
Nation. We provide a platform for people to build relationships, gather and share
information, and think holistically about disasters. We lead by supporting,
coordinating, and managing personnel, assets, and information. We also offer
tools, guidance, and resources to help individuals and communities review, build,
and continuously improve their own capabilities.

Just fukin lol @ Benny. I suppose Fire Fighters also shouldn't show up to burning buildings, because it's kind of risky.

Surely you cannot be serious with that statement.

I mean.....talk about cope.

I have a feeling if a Republican was in office and this disaster had happened in a blue state that your stance would be the complete opposite of what it is now. And this is the big problem I have with the Democratic lib left. You ALWAYS think along political lines. Always. Just like a cult member would.

I can promise you that if a Rep was in office and this had happened in let's say New York that no one here would be saying "ehhhh.....let the train company take care of it...the Feds shouldn't get involved".

No. There are people and lots of animals being affected here. Dying. Getting sick. That crosses all political lines.

It is unfortunate that people like yourself and Seatard are so biased in your stance that you place politics over common decency.

Jesus 'tard, just stop already.
FEMA’s National Response Coordination Center is a multiagency center responsible for organizing and coordinating federal support for major disasters. FEMA deploys the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) to disaster sites. NDMS is comprised of teams of doctors and nurses who work in the private sector. They are normally sponsored by their hospitals, private companies, and public safety agencies. In the event of a disaster, these teams are sent in to provide assistance. FEMA also coordinates with the United States Public Health Service’s Rapid Deployment Force. These teams work together to decontaminate victims of chemical and biologic agents, to treat injured persons, and to immunize against disease. Urban Search and Rescue teams are also used to find persons trapped in collapsed structures or stranded by flooding.

Liberals: Don't think the government should get involved in a toxic train derailment but want the FBI to investigate parents who don't want their children groomed by trannys.

It really is amazing watching them inject politics into every facet of life. As the other poster said, it's very cult like.

Based on your previous posts....and Benny's....it is pretty clear where you stand politically. Since not giving Federal aid to Ohio goes against every shred of common sense and decency.....it can be logically deduced that the ONLY reason people such as yourself and Benny would not want Fed aid given and would make such statements as Benny made regarding Fed officials not showing up is because:

Biden is a Dem
Ohio is a red state

End of story.

Water utilities and air tests are coming back clean or "safe". What is actually needed on the ground right now?
Honest to god man, you've made an ass out of yourself playing politics, you look dumb AF, and you need to stop arguing and walk away from this one.

I'm a bit of environmentalist myself, and I'd love to see all these creeks in industrial areas cleaned up. For years the EPA has been chit on for overreaching though. It's not going to happen overnightbut lets go hard after anyone polluting our natural resources.

Biden is a Dem
Ohio is a red state

End of story.
Okay, but you interjected your political feelings.

Didn't you say you had a big problem with the cultish behavior of always thinking along political lines?

Okay... With that big smooth brain of yours, you should then easily be able to provide a quote where myself or anyone else said the federal or state EPA shouldn't have assisted, nor the local first responders, nor the DOT, NTSB, FRA, or any other government entity besides the suits from FEMA bringing blank checks.

InB4 autistic screeching of semantics, they're all the same.

You are missing my point. IF a Republican was POTUS and this disaster happened in NY and the POTUS did not send aid? I would criticize the Rep POTUS often and hard (with reckless abandon over and over). To me what happened is a disaster on humanity and mother Earth. Therefore all aid and help should be given to help those in need and to clean it up asap.

But by you and Benny saying "no.....let the city or the state or the railway clean it up and the Feds don't need to get involved"....then you are 100% making it political because Biden is a Dem and Ohio is red and if the situation was reversed (blue state and Red POTUS) IMO you would be all about sending Fed aid.

Whereas I say it shouldn't matter at all what color you are. Just go help them with anything and everything.

I mean....why is the Feds getting involved even in dispute here? This is a no brainer. Clean it up!
Words to live by...."You're at the shopping mall with your girl but a hot chick walks by. Are you going to look at the hot girl? No. You use your peripheral vision."
