Did I Goof? (pics)(baldcells stay out)

Gave myself a haircut. Used to just buzz it all the same length and call it good. This time I wanted to keep the top longer and sides shorter (no zoomer). Tried using scissors on the top part and it started looking bad so I just did a 1" buzz on that part and then worked my way down the sides and back in increments down to 1/4" or 1/8" can't remember. Thought it was going alright until I got down to the shortest guard.

srs. Hair was about as long as I've ever had it and I was mirin it, but wanted to just clean up the sides a little and get the hair out front from falling down towards my eyes.
