one only has to look at common dog behavior to show that Pitbull's are not dogs they are a complete perversion of the dog species.

The single most important trait in guard dogs is that they outwardly show their aggression/intent. vicious snarling, loud barking, exposed teeth, raised hairs etc, might seem off-putting, but those traits are absolutely critical. a pit is like a rattlesnake with no rattle, gives no warning, from playful to killer in a snap. you cant overstate how big of a flaw this is.

let the breed go extinct.

I said so let me get this straight... this old lonely bitch already proved she's a negligent dog owner, had no shot records, no vet on file, no idea where she even got the dog from, and you're giving it back to her? The neighbor was gardening and watched it bite me and said it bit her before too. If it was a child riding a bike it would have mauled them. Don't even get me started with the room temp IQ mouth breathers working for animal control.

I live in a major city and down the street from a massive park. A lot of people bring their dogs there to run around in the field, but there are often several pits. Half the time the Pit owner is a 20 or 30 something female at less than 150 lbs. It's so frustrating because you know if that dog wanted to go after something (dog, cat, kid, adult, etc) there isn't a chance in a hell they'll be able to stop or control that dog.

I never go out for a run or walk without a blade. It's super hard and uncomfortable to carry a firearm when running or wearing gym shorts, so that's kinda out of the question. Thinking of getting a super small and light pocket carry though.

Just invest in a super nice OTF knife, benchmade brand etc. I have mine so sharp that all I have to do is place it against a pits neck and hit the button and its gonna shred right through it.

Unfortunately OTF's are illegal... like catch a felony illegal.

Spring assists are illegal too (less so) but I carry one anyway. 3.75" blade that I keep sharp and keep the spring oiled for quick access.

Normal carry is a M&P Shield, but with crime going crazy lately, I'm on the hunt for something with a double-stack for more capacity. Neither would work for running though (too much weight) so I may scoop up a pocket size as well that's light on weight and is like a 5 or 6 round for when running or going to the gym.

If I'm not mistaken over half of attacks on people by dogs are from pit bulls. If it isn't half it's close. So many breeds and yet just one is responsible for so much carnage. While it wasn't harsh my son who wasn't yet 2 at the time got a bite in the face from a pitbull. The dog just nipped at him which is all it took for a bloody gash on his face. So little reaction from a calm pitbull caused a wound that took a couple months to fully heal and required a visit to the pediatric ER. If the dog got truly angry my son would have required plastic surgery after weeks in the ICU or my son would have bled out before I could get there. Copers say "it's not the breed, it's the owner." Bullschit, it's the breed. Practically every pit owner is a pussy with an uncontrollable weapon the rest of the world has to deal with. Kill 'em all for all I care.

Not the same thing. It would be if a firearm could just randomly shoot a kid in the head for no reason by itself. Or if a firearm just decided to shoot a smaller dog, or if the firearm shot the owner for no reason.

Pitbulls are trash dogs. Every pitbull kill story is the same cope of “it never showed signs”. Or the bigger cope of “little dogs are mean.” Who cares if an 8lb chihuahua comes at me full rabid? Who cares if 10 of them rush me? Pitbulls were bred for violence and it shows.

Legal weapons you can control. Do people leave lethal weapons just sitting in their yard that any kid walking by could pick up? Do visitors have to have a lethal, legal weapon in close proximity to them every time they go inside a friend or stranger's house?

Comparison of piss. Go to a large dog park on the weekend. Dozens of dogs all roaming around and if there's a fight between them most of them are by pits. It isn't coincidence and doesn't matter if the owners are ghetto or a nice 30 yr old in a nice neighborhood.
