The available data suggest the robustness of "natural" immunity is proportional to severity of infection. So if someone's "natural" immunity was from a mild infection, it may not be as robust as the acquired immunity from vaccination.

-Entire states disregarded prior infection, our 2 largest cities wouldn't let people eat in restaurants unless they had jabs.
-US President Joe Biden pissed on natural immunity by trying vaccine mandates after well over half of the US population had already been infected.
-The denial of natural immunity has let the CDC way overstate deaths from Covid, by at least double, probably closer to triple by now.
