Yep. Got called a CT nutjob for saying it originated in a Wuhan lab so many times. I was saying it back in 2020 when Trump was. Not a single person I know now is willing to eat their crow and admit they were wrong. If I even hint at it, they promptly change the topic, perhaps ignoring me entirely to avoid it.

I don't understand what you mean. It was funded and lead by both the NIH and Fauci. Why would the Chinese alone pay reparations?

They knowingly lied that it was transmissible to humans when they had already banned travel between Wuhan and the rest of Chy-na, while still allowing international travel to the area.

Best case scenario: they were trying to cover up their failures
Most likely: they saw it as an opportunity to hurt everyone else while hoping that it wouldn't spread too much in their country. Even if it did, they care less about their people than countries in the West.

In a fair world, yes they would have massive punitive damages to the rest of the world, basically bankrupting the government and specifically the CCP officials that oversaw it. Assets around the world would be seized, loans to them would be voided as paid in full, and the officials like Xi would be brought up on "crimes against humanity".

But nothing will happen. Hopefully at least more bad mojo/karma will continue to destroy them.

Great evil is generally not an individual, but a process through a collective of individuals who are all exploiting the situation for personal gains.

The U.S govt and Chinese govt are equally responsible for it. US via Fauci funding the gain of function research in the lab that created the virus, and the CCP for covering it up and allowing it to spread. That's why nobody has been officially 'blamed' for it since it's the 2 most powerful governments in the world behind it - it's mutually beneficial for them to keep the origins covered up.

The pandemic was staged from China, but there are plenty of data points showing that the virus was circulating before the hyped Chinese outbreak. IIRC it was found in blood samples from people getting dialysis well before that and in waste water samples in Italy 9 months prior.

If you scroll down to 2017 at this link it appears that preparations were under way even earlier.

Most of the deceased were quite old and a large number of people didn't die directly from the virus, but from ventilators, remdesevir, withholding of food [really], and the withholding of antibiotics for pneumonia and of pre-existing medications [HCQ and ivermectin].

If there hadn't been a big staged production with constant media propaganda and medical mismanagement/malpractice I don't think the general public would have even noticed it that much.

The rate of excess mortality is higher now than it was during the worst waves of covid and it barely gets any attention.

Well now they are more concerned with people paying attention to Russian claims that the US was operating bioweapon labs in Ukraine. We did have labs in Ukraine and there is official video of testimony, though of course weaponization was denied.

Also all the extra illness and dying is gaining some awareness so the US where the two mrna injections were approved for EUA would rather deflect any attention away from there actions and direct people towards China and long covid.
