This.

Covid has torn entire country apart. Family and friends turned on each other, jobs lost, etc.. And for what. A virus with something like a 99.9999998% chance of survival if you DO get it.

your studies consistently suck and no one should waist their time because they either fail to publish a p value or even perform any regression analysis. Please board a plane and jump off immediately.

Yeah....I don't put much stand in p values, but most employ some form of logistic regression and report p values.

I much prefer Bayesian inference, but adoption by the larger community is slow.

There's immunity from both vaccination and infection, including T cell development. The infection based route of course produces a higher variety of immune cells. Hence the double vax and infection are about the same protection in the short term, but prior infection is more durable for the long-term.

At the route of almost all problems since 2020 were politicians, complicit media, and evil kunts (i.e. Fauci, Walensky, many others given air time) downplaying two vital things: 1) The protection infection gave, and 2) how much infection we already had experienced.

The blatant disregard people mentioned above had for natural immunity is mind boggling malfeasance. They also pretended like reported cases were most of the infections. You could play thousands of hours of them doing so on video. But of course in 2020 less than in 1 in 5 infections were identified and reported. These disregards of reality allowed lockdowns to go on for so long. The lies stopped travel, stopped commerce, fuked up chain supply problems we still have today. All for control through fear and to make companies who sponsor mainstream media rich. The lies about natural immunity and how widespread it already was before vaccines are a cover for the heart attacks in young people right now. Simple math. The elderly were the least prior infected, younger people more infected. So while ~25% of elderly were infected by the time elderly were starting to get vaccine shots, by the time young people (teens through 40s) were getting vaccine shots months later, half or more than half of them had already been infected. Forcing shots on them was not only immune redundant, it of course came with side effect risks. Already infected and can prove it? Too bad, no college for you unless you get double jabbed. LOl, que?

And no, not all of the heart attacks are from the vaxes. Some of the increase in young people is because obesity grew as much during the pandemic as the prior 20 years combined. That increase was from lockdowns and fear, again a byproduct of the lies and downplaying of natural immunity protection and its breadth already in the population. At the root everything comes back to those lies and downplaying.

Our now world famous public health officials lied over and over and over because they are corrupted by big pharma money. Half of the FDA's budget comes from the industry the drug companies they're supposed to regulate, and it's a revolving door between the FDA and Pfizer and other pharma companies. The rest of the world is laughing and incredulous that the US is recommending mRNA shots to babies and young kids, which has been happening solely because Fauci, Walensky and media companies are bought and paid for. It has been a money grab since day 1. Never let a crisis go to waste philosophy.

Even before Omicron came around, at least 70%, likely 80% of school age children had already been infected. Oh but make sure you get them triple jabbed even though they already have immunity. Say wut m8? Unless they have cancer, were born with a serious health defect or have a 40+ BMI they are at zero risk from Covid. And they have always been the most likely to be asymptomatic, so there were undoubtedly tons of children given mRNA jabs while they were concurrently infected with Covid. Psst, that's not good no matter what your age.

Novavax has a 90% efficacy rate against !MODERN VARIANTS!, while the studies done for Pfizer and Moderna were completed against only the original strain and no such variants.

Translation : Novavax is AT LEAST, just as strong. Reality? It is better.

Furthermore,

mRNA has been linked to GREATER side affects, Adverse effects (AE)

And Again, tell me. Is your body designed to be at a heightened immunoresponse with no break for years?

The first link is talking any the initial trial, not a comparative trial.

Recall the 90%+ effectiveness in the Pfizer trial.

Findings

In this cohort study including 2 441 581 individuals aged 30 years or more, the estimated effectiveness of the mRNA booster against Omicron-confirmed infections ranged from 31.7% to 41.3% with rapid waning over time. Estimated mRNA booster effectiveness against severe COVID-19 was 87.4% with no evidence of waning up to 6 months after boosting, while the estimated 3-dose inactivated SARS-CoV-2 booster effectiveness against severe COVID-19 was 69.6%.

And to expand on my question :

Is your body designed to be at a heightened immunoresponse with no break for years (mRNA boosters)?

What would happen if, this heightened immunoresponse ...increases the risk of your body attacking your own healthy cells in certain parts of the body? For example, your heart?

Under normal infections, your body raises the alarm, fights off infection, and then goes back down to normal levels.

Under mRNA... you are kept at high levels for very long periods of time... would this not increase the risk of something going wrong in certain people? After all, your immune system attacking your own healthy cells is not a strange phenomenon.

Something to think about.

You gotta love how it took the FDA a year and a half longer to approve the superior Novavax vaccine than it took for developing countries like India and Indonesia. But hey the FDA has the public's best interests at heart, right?

Novavax doesn't throw billions of dollars at mass media companies. Few Americans have even heard of it. But hey make sure you get that useless bivalent vaccine, herpa derpa.

"Multiple COVID-19 vaccines, representing diverse vaccine platforms, successfully protect against symptomatic COVID-19 cases and deaths. Head-to-head comparisons of T cell, B cell, and antibody responses to diverse vaccines in humans are likely to be informative for understanding protective immunity against COVID-19, with particular interest in immune memory. Here, SARS-CoV-2-spike-specific immune responses to Moderna mRNA-1273, Pfizer/BioNTech BNT162b2, Janssen Ad26.COV2.S, and Novavax NVX-CoV2373 were examined longitudinally for 6 months 100% of individuals made memory CD4+ T cells, with cTfh and CD4-CTL highly represented after mRNA or NVX-CoV2373 vaccination. mRNA vaccines and Ad26.COV2.S induced comparable CD8+ T cell frequencies, though only detectable in 60–67% of subjects at 6 months. A differentiating feature of Ad26.COV2.S immunization was a high frequency of CXCR3+ memory B cells. mRNA vaccinees had substantial declines in antibodies, while memory T and B cells were comparatively stable. These results may also be relevant for insights against other pathogens."

After Novavax, levels of CD8+ T cells, which destroy infected cells, were low to undetectable, whereas the other three vaccines performed well in this metric.

What you call "waning", I would call, "immune response going back to normal until it's time to fight infection again"

Why should your body keep elevated levels if the infection is gone?

mRNA puts you in an unnatural state, as you just referenced.

Look at how the astrazeneca "vax" was treated. AZ sold it at cost and hence wasn't bribing anybody, so the media eviscerated them in the hopes that governments would choose other "vaccines".

AZ had a clot problem and was banned in many places over safety fears. Further investigation found that the clot issue wasn't any worse than the other versions, but AZ wasn't bribing officials etc

In their initial trial, not in comparative trials.

No detectable t-cell response suggest little cell-mediated immunity which is the longer lasting and more robust of the two types of acquired immunity.

Each of the vaccines have their advantages and disadvantages with regard to immune response. CD8+ T cells are not the only T cells we have. And Novavax seems to be at least as effective overall as the mRNA shots. Superior in small ways, inferior in small ways with immune response. If I were to go strictly off the abstract you highlighted from the study in Cell I would conclude the J&J vax was a lot better than the mRNA ones, but alas I've ready other studies and know they're all about the same for immune response.

More about Novavax.

The four vaxes are all basically about the same in immune effectiveness, while the mRNA ones have the most side effect risks. It's a shame the FDA wouldn't even look at Novavax for a long time and only gave emergency authorization when we had already reached endemic status in the US.

They also found increased risk of myocarditis and added it to the product info.

So, it hasn't been demonstrated to be more effective and still has risks. But, at least it's "traditional"?

uh huh, and Novavax is lower risk as well. Again, if I just went off the abstract you are pulling this from I'd assume the J&J was far more effective, but I don't look at one study's results to make a judgment. All of the vaxes have a risk vs reward profile, and effectiveness is all about the same now, with margins of difference, with more markers of effectiveness than mentioned in the study you are pulling from. The part that has worried people the most is safety because young people at zero to little risk were forced to get them. And since Omicron it's literally just a head cold that doesn't replicate much or at all in the lungs. In that regard, Moderna loses. A higher risk vaccine like especially Moderna could be justified to elderly in 2021. But not to young people, and especially not after arrival of the Omicron variant.

Again, much of the problems are rooted in the newfound disregard our health care providers had for natural immunity suddenly in 2020. "Hey it's summer 2021, most college age people already have natural immunity but we'll completely disregard natural immunity as worthless because our public health leaders have told us to. Roll up your sleeves, we don't care if you've already had the virus."

Edit: anyway, this is all getting pretty ghey arguing about this now. Others realize the absolute BULLSCHIT we were put through for 3 years, you apparently don't. You aren't objective and you have all the time in the world to cherry pick and write half of the posts in a thread. You try "winning" a discussion by sheer volume of posting instead of all relevant facts, and you don't know to interpret them for the real world.

Peace out beechez.

There are separate points here. The last three years have been tough for many, no argument there.

But, so far we haven't seen that Novax is superior to the mRNA vaccines.

We also have not seen the source for this claim:

"Multiple COVID-19 vaccines, representing diverse vaccine platforms, successfully protect against symptomatic COVID-19 cases and deaths.Head-to-head comparisons of T cell, B cell, and antibody responses to diverse vaccines in humans are likely to be informative for understanding protective immunity against COVID-19, with particular interest in immune memory.

It's a hot night. The mind races. You think about your knife: the only friend who hasn't betrayed you, the only friend who won't be dead by sunup. Sleep tight mates, in your quilted chambray night shirts.

Vaccines weren't, and still aren't globally available."Multiple COVID-19 vaccines, representing diverse vaccine platforms, successfully protect against symptomatic COVID-19 cases and deaths"- for those who both have access to and accept them. Global travel is a daily occurrence.

Relying on a single mitigation measure to which much of the world did/does not have access seems like a poor strategy to me. Do you disagree?

Expansion to my question.

Autoimmune diseases such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis are typically adult-onset. However, new research over the past 20 years has shown that the auto-antibodies underlying autoimmune disease can be present for years, even decades before the disease manifests.

So... are doctors scanning people for these things before giving them a jab that keeps their immune system at elevated levels for up to 24 months without break?

Further, studies have shown, like this one :

https://rmdopen.bmj.com/content/1/1/e000012

That obesity greatly increases risk of developing an autoimmune disease.

Obesity --> increased risk of autoimmune disease --> jab elevating immune levels for months and months and years, instead of allowing it to normal levels again....

Not that I know of. Should we be doing that for influenza and other vaccines as well?
