Nobody is denying anything.


But the most recent FF games are very good and popular.


FF MMO got fixed a while back and it keeps getting better and better, probably the most popular mmo out there rn since world of warcraft turned to chit.

FF7 remake was an amazing game and rebirth is gonna continue on that.

15 had it's flaws, but the game had a lot of heart.

16 looks to be changing up the formula and they've got the mmo team behind it, so hopefully it knocks it out of the park.


I'm not an FF nerd and only got into the series recently, sure it may not be as "big" as it was back in the day, but they're still making very good games.

Definitely. Just look at TLOU, the environments are second to none, only rivalled by RDR 2 when it comes to design and graphics.

Can someone bolster my confidence in this game? I enjoyed FF15, but it feel off so hard near the end that I could only regulate it to the good, not great category. The lastGreatFF for me was 10. 12 wasn't bad, but I never felt the urge to finish it.

as a huge ff fanboy ive got mixed feelings.i had the OG ff on nes.first ps1 game i bought was 7.changed my life.and that sountrack was weak.7,8 9 and tactics had the best soundtrack.but xenogears had the superior soundtrack out of all of them.well maybe thats pushing it.eyes on me from ff8 might be the best out of all of them.either way the combat is centered arounf Devil may cry cause hes the guy that worked on the combat.the cinematics were great.gameplay probably not so good.Lost oddysey was the last great RPG.wich was also the creator ff magnum opus
