Should I buy this apartment outright (srs) (pics)

Seen this apartment not far from where I live and apparently only 4K wtf, an average one bedroom apartment costs 100-200k these days due to inflation, even the chit ones are like 50-60k.

Something tells me it‘ll look completely unrenovated IRL and that the pics are too good to be true.


If I did buy it I’d technically be a homeowner but can imagine it would need some serious renovations.

Is this a good investment or a scam?

They’re genuine properties under 10k but they’re rare and usually in chithole areas.

They’re completely unrenovated though so would need to spend atleast an extra 20-50k to do them up.

Maybe if it's a foreclosure and that's the starting bid or something

Can't see getting a condo for 10k

Cheapest condo bare minimum in my city is about 300k USD

If you could get a condo for 10k anybody would buy it and make their $$ back the first year renting it.

Bradford has to be the biggest chithole in the UK, don't do it.

Also think of your type of neighbours who will also be paying 4k, and it will probably stink of curry.

Thats probably starting bid on a foreclosure or something

The thing about condos is they are never compete dumps because ppl are paying maintenance fees / hoa
