Got bullied pretty bad. I was kind of weird and socially awkward so I got targeted. Physical bullying stopped when I proved I'd fight anyone but it wasn't that, it was just the way I was treated, the comments, just the attitude. Nothing I did was right, everything was wrong.
To this day I've noticed some things. Anytime something happens good for me, it seems like people want to imply that I just lucked out, or some kind of priveledge, things were jsut given to me, that I don't really deserve it, ect. People love to criticise everything I do and every move I make. I know this much, I'm in a higher position now, much higher than most of them, and even though I'm in the positoin they were, I have no desire nor do I ever do what they did.

Then, when I get hired for a IT sales company that pays 50K a year when I graduated, suddenly the comments are "that job sucks anyway, anybody can get hired there, 50K is nothing I'm gonna get paid more, you'll probably suck and get fired, etc"
Literally nothing I do is right, none of my moves are right.
In HS people would say I would never get into college. Then, when I get into a pretty good school, the comments are "that school isn't good, you just lucked out, you'll fail out and won't graudate, etc"
Just so exhausting man. Why does everyone feel the need to put me down. I'm not asking for people to suck my d*ck, but jesus I just don't understand the off handed comments and the attacks I get.

Maybe try working out or get into a combat sport
How did you even find this forum? You probably play video games all day and now you make chit threads on here all day

There's no HR department in HS and College. People can be mean and nasty to you for no reason and there isn't really you can do. Maybe I could've stood up for myself, but not sure what that would've achieved when multiple people come at you at once. Classmates, peers, club members, friends of friends, and even friends themselves
Mostly cut out everyone from my life and maybe talk to 1-2 people now, but your still mentally fcked after years of abuse.

same op, ded fkn srs
from my experience it instills in you a lifelong feeling of inadequacy and deficiency, like youre automatically less than or not good enough. i think it can cause severe psychological damage.
i remember even from grade 1 getting shoved in urinals, bookbags ripped from me and everything scattered on the floor and up to 10th grade, spit on, punched every now and then, smacked in the back of my head repeatedly on the team bus to and from games. and of course, picked last, always even though i was more athletic than half of the cawksukkers. could have / should have gone D3 but i puss'd out and never pursued it. could kick myself in the *** for not doing it. tried to walk on to my Uni's D1 team, didnt make it. but back to the issues,
may sound grim but if death came knocking on every single one of their doors, i would give precisely zero fuks.
not sure how to get over it mang. ive no doubt become more of an ***hole because of it. seems to help.

OPie based on your thread responses I have known people like this. Ive had family members like this. You get marked at an early point with a group of people as "that guy" and no matter what you do or how you change they have a caricature image in their head of who you are and what youre about and it wont change. You need to go NC on anyone from HS or college that fits this mold. Block them on ******** etc. Like they dont exist.
You need to focus on working towards whatever you define as success. Not what THEY define as success, whatever you think wouldve made them "change their minds" if "only they saw you now". Whatever you want independently of them whether thats a better job, higher salary, girlfriend, lifting PR or whatever bc thats the way you win. If you keep thinking about the past you just let them clog your mind and occupy your time/effort/motivation you could be putting towards other things that actually matter. You let that happen and they perpetually beat you forever. Youre only in a battle against yourself at this point if you dont see them anymore so gotta quit with the self-pity and dwelling and move on to the stuff thats gonna make you better. Its all on you now how the rest goes and they only matter if you let them

Hardly ever, I mean, really never is the guy screaming at me because he is having a bad day the source of my frustration. I refuse to match him. I am a respectable person and other peoples behavior will not dictate mine. I will. Usually it is a self esteem or ego thing. The truth is, in that moment, I, as I understand me to be, remain perfectly intact regardless of anything this other person just said or did. In this moment, I am fine and everything is okay.
There is nothing anyone can say, think, or do, to change that.

I'm gonna go ahead and offer a take that isn't purely coddling wincel, here.
Aren't you in your 30's or beyond now, as most of the misc is? You've gotta at least be late 20's. Your problem is simple: you put way too much thought into your high school days. It's one thing to still be bothered by it slightly right after HS, but you've got some issues if you're still dwelling on that bs by your mid-20's. If you haven't figured it out by your 30's, then go see a psych and/or therapist about it, and above all, grow a ballsack already.
That all being said, I absolutely believe wincel when he says he dealt with severe bullying issues as a kid. Why? Because he acts like a man who did. The constant lashing out at people, dedicating 7+ years to trying to rustle strangers on an online message board at all hours of the day, saying aggressive chit like telling people to go off themselves, etc. All signs profoundly sad, depressed, and lonely individual who is still excessively bitter and resentful of the past. You're an adult man, and at this point you've probably been out of school as long as/longer than you spent in K-12. Get over it already, dude.

Realize you don't have to put up with them anymore.
They're not there & will never be.
You no longer have to be surrounded by people who make fun of you.

Best thing you can do I'd say is get far away from those who treated you like crap in the past. Life is to short to put up with terrible individuals.

I gog bullied in middle school pretty bad, then in high school I finally hit puberty and lifted and wrassled so nobody could bully me
held resentment for a long time, probably until I was like 24
then after being around children it made me remember how annoying I was and that I was guilty of bullying too and probably deserved a lot of it
now I don't hold any anger about it because I realize we were all little shiitheads to eachother, all kids are ass holes

I try to identify why I place value (positive or negative) on certain things. I started off by identifying what the feelings physically felt like. For self awareness purposes, now when I feel those feelings, which I am familiar with since I have examined them, instead of letting them take control, i try to identify the source of them.

I was raised by my grandparents and they were stellar people to say the least. Grandtather died when I was 9, so it was mostly my grandmother and she would tell me that when I would get mad and call names back and get into it I was letting them win because that was their intent and of course it went in one ear and out the other, but now I understand. I'll be damned if I let another man control my emotions. I'll be damned if I let my emotions control me. Calling names, how pathetic, and if I resort to hitting someone then I really showed a lack of problem solving skills. If you do it in one place, you do it in others. The Misc is full of "alpha/beta" and "mogging" which is fun to joke around about by really, IRL that's pathetic if you walk around constantly comparing yourself to others. Getting mad is losing control and only causes more issues.

The thing about it is that by being stuck in that mindset you only make your problem worst. This mentality can evolve into even more negative behaviors which will just turn into a downward spiral into the gutter. I will have to say that at the point when I had a chip on my shoulder it motivated me to be better than them, and in that process I realized what people respected and thought highly of and decided to be like them. Not easy and I'm still working on it.

And I wish I had the "Don't give a f*ck" attitude and mindset, but I know I don't because I keep thinking back to all the humiliation I suffered in the past and feeling sorry for myself.

You should talk to a therapist so you can let some of it out srs
You can also look for Julian Himself from RSD on Youtube trama release video. That has helped me.

Do they give you coping strategies with your mental health and your past insecurities?
Do they prescribe you antidepressants and chit?
Do they basically tell you what to do going forward?
Have never done therapy. None of my friends or family members have done mental health therapy before. For those that have done it, did it really help? I'm not really sure am I super comfortable telling someone about my past humiliations and how much of a loser I feel, but if it truely helps me forget about the past and makes me feel better about myself and gives me some sort of closure to my HS and College days then I'd consider it.
