The Baggette got destroyed. He should've had Jones gf train him for the fight. She put up more resistance in a hotel lobby than he did in the cage

He is.. only black spot on his record was the PED/Pico stuff

But most of his record is in an era when people were 100% ON STUFF

So not like he was getting an advantage.. Half the people he faced fell off a cliff then minute USADA came in and they had to stop abusing TRT

I do think its kinda BS that it wasn't Jones vs Francis.. The french boy is not that good.. tbh LHW/HW is just not great atm

But still the GOAT for me

Really? So a guy who enjoys size and definitely reach advantage over pretty much everybody, and has fought like one person his size his whole life is now the goat? In the weakest division in history of MMA , he’s the goat! , even though almost unanimously every top fighter, has named someone else as the goat?

Heavyweight is the weakest division by far so his argument for GOAT wasn’t really changed by winning this fight against a dude so admits he doesn’t train and plays fifa all day lol


Is he the goat? Sure with a question mark since he’s always on gear.

The bigger issue is I don’t think him racking up wins in heavyweight will help further his goat status. Everybody in hw other than Francis sucks right now. Stipe is probably past his prime

I assume you mean Fedor? Prime Fedor might have been the best ever but Jones is insane too. LHW was a murderers row when he was champ. Shogun, Machida, Rampage Jackson, TRT Belfort, and Daniel Cormier who was the heavyweight world champion right after he got beat by Jones the second time. There are a lot of bad things to say about Jon Jones but his competition was top notch

Agreed with everything except the gear part. All UFC fighters are on gear. They let Brock Lesner in the UFC for Christ sake lol. He was never even tested in that comeback fight for UFC 200. USADA gave him an exemption lol

No question Jon Jones is incredible and one of the best ever, I was lucky enough to have several amateur and pro fighter friends including some top UFC guys, and I always heard them talking about different fighters, and everyone was always on the same page that Jon Jones has Such talent that it’s difficult to even explain or put into words, it borders on paranormal, apparently, according to some fighters that were part of the training camp where Jones was they say he would go out partying and drinking alcohol and not getting any sleep the night before some of his fights, and they would legit come up to him and expressed concern, and he would tell them: “watch this, I’m going to win the fight tomorrow in two minutes” …

and then he would go and do exactly that. All one can do after that is just scratch one’s head.

And correct about fedor. There will never be another. There is a picture of Jon Jones standing with fedor for a picture, it’s really incredible, he’s so much bigger and taller.

i mean, maybe not. but regardless at one point you slip up after multiple title defenses. it's easy to have that one fluke fight were you lose and get ko'd against somebody you shouldn't have lost to. i agree though none of the fights add to his legacy individually but multiple title defenses regardless would be impressive.
