Is amazon just completely useless now?

Running out of Reuzel hair tonic, half the damn reviews saying chits fake on Amazon. My list of chit I can't get on Amazon is getting longer every day. Used to be the go to place for everything.

Yup its getting to that point.

Cant get kirkland minoxidil in Canada amazon now.

Ordered vitamin D3 last week and they say it wont be ready to ship until march 14. I used to order and it show up on my doorstep 2 days later.

I'm not renewing my prime this year because it seems like you get shafted about half the time now buying from Amazon.

Literally just tonight I was looking at pillows on there and realized it was too risky because you'd probably end up with some fake garbage that sucks ass. Some reviewers were posting pics of the pillows areiving with bugs on them LMAO.

I can't buy bike parts on there anymore, can't do sunglasses, can't do much of anything..... It got very bad in the last 2-3 years, now it's horrific.

EDIT: also, the one time I ever tried leaving a 1 star review, they never published it LOL..... My 3-5 stars always worked though.

buy direct from Amazon. When you see this where it says its both ships from and sold by amazon:



It means there are no third party sellers involved, its just amazon buying directly from the vendor and selling it themselves. So no fakes.

Even this is sketchy due to fraudulent returns.... I once bought tire sealant from Amazon and it was obviously diluted with water by the previous buyer, then returned for a refund, then I bought it.

That's rare because most vendor products are disposed of upon return (more so than with third party sellers). Generally when they do sell anything that has been returned (more common with items priced >$40) it'll sell at a lower price and be marked specifically as a former return. If something like that happens, just tell amazon and they'll give you a refund

This happened to me with a cpu cooler, expensive car parts etc. It's ruined stop giving them money boys

Or I can just go to my local shop, buy the sealant for $3 more, and it works perfectly. I fought the non-working sealant for months before I realized what happened. Not worth it.

Sucks because it used to be a solid way to shop. I'm done with it tho.

Also, most online shopping these days is very good from independent online stores ..... So if you need a car specific thing, find a valid car specific site to buy from. Odds are the shipping is free and you'll have it in 3 days max.

Yeah there is so much grey market and black market stuff on there I don’t trust anything on there anymore. Once they let other resellers sell stuff they lost all control.

I avoid amazon if possible. Would rather pay shipping from a more reputable site than "free" shipping through prime or shipped/sold by amazon junk. Too much fake crap and delivery times are getting stupid long - like 2 weeks or more if you're not using prime; and 2-day shipping is more like 3-4 now. I just buy from other sites and pay the shipping which is usually a few bucks. Get it within the week and usually way better customer service if something does go wrong.

If I didn't regularly buy and watch crap on Prime Video I'd cancel it right now. There's not a thing is buy there otherwise.

Specialty vendors for all the rest....
