What do you mean "how are we dealing with it?" Everyone knows the misc is full of richcels who retire in their late 30's and just go golfing, out the yacht, chilling in their lake/beach houses (which are of course only 1 of 2 or 3 homes they own and paid all cash for), and miscing while they laugh at the wagecucks who can't figure out how to pull it off while making it look super easy on top of it.

1) Increase your income more. Whether that means a career move, second job, side hustle, over time, promotions, or company hopping. Inflation is 6-7%, so increase your income by 10%+. People were OK with 3-5% pay increases in the 2010's because inflation rate was only 1-3% usually. Me personally, in 2022 I was gearing up to company hop, even got an offer, but current company fought to keep me and increased my base pay by 30%, followed by another 2% increase before 2022 ended, getting about 5% bump this year.
2) Reduce expenses. This could mean moving to a cheaper area, paying off debts, downsizing in car, getting roommates, buying less chit, doing cheaper/less vacations, eating solely groceries (no restaurants / delivery food), cancelling subscriptions, reassessing your companies or deals for your bills/insurance, but an even bigger thing to recommend is hanging out with people (or dating girls) who aren't doing expensive chit all of the time. My main issue to address personally is reducing my restaurants/deliveries. A single Uber Eats meal is usually $20-35, versus spending less than $5 per meal on groceries. Assuming 2 meals a day, that's $40-70 vs $10 per day, or $1200-2100 vs $300 per month.

Well in late 2021 I raised my monthly rate for service from $625 to $725 in anticipation of the inflation. I usually have about 30 clients on my roster so that meant a 3k/mo increase to my income just because I sent an email saying so. I think now that everybody is feeling the sting of inflation I would lose some clients if I did a big jump like $50-100/mo so this summer I will raise it by a modest $25/mo so nobody complains or decides to discontinue service. It will only mean $750/mo increase to my income but I plan on making it an annual thing so in 4 years I will have raised it $100/mo total meaning another 3k/mo.

I'm more conscious of grocery prices anymore. Target and Walmart tend to have much better pricing though not always the best selection. It is surprising at how large price differences can be.

I take beers from my local mart, and the cashier that is getting paid $10/hr says "Hey where are you going?!'
I throw up a fist, and yell Black Lives Matter, take a knee, and also remind him that I'm transitioning, and he says "Oh..."

I've been fine but have noticed certain things being more expensive. On my end, I:
Peruse local flyers and buy things on sale
Bulk purchase my lean meats like boneless/skinless chicken breasts, pork loins, and other extra-lean meats (especially while cutting) and freeze them
Eat lots of legumes and make legume-based meals, particularly beans (once again, more so on cut)
I raise hens and therefore don't buy eggs
I don't buy nor consume milk
I grow my own vegetables in the summer as much as I can
I brew my own beer and mead, although I very rarely drink alcohol (maybe 1 drink a month)
I currently am baking my own bread
I make my own mayo with my hens' eggs
I focus on nutrient-dense foods and never buy process nor frozen foods
I only drink water
It's actually not so difficult to manage inflation unless you're buying stuff that will add up over time. Best of luck to all of us boyos here as we get assraped by the long, ever-increasing shaft of rising prices and lowering quality.

Had to leave my comfy but low paying WFH job to work in a miserable office once again for more money because inflation had gotten so bad it effectively wiped out my savings.

Food and Gas are where I've felt it. I don't eat out nearly as much anymore, fuk $40 5 guys for me and my son. Gas is back down to normal levels. Utilities seem a little high. I used to casually browse the housing market, no point in that these days...

-Spending more
-Saving/Investing less
I'm only saving like $1500/month now compared to like $2k+ this time last year.
I did just get a 10% raise that will kick in the beginning of April so that'll be roughly another $1k/month so that will be nice. Thinking about buying a weekend toy or just keep saving/investing for a rainy day.
