What I love is nobody even knows what Bitcoin is or does. They'll pretend to know, but have no idea because their explanations are "baffle them with bull$hit" rather than "dazzle them with brilliance". It's just an overhyped ponzie scheme, so if you weren't in early and cheap, you'll probably lose money.

I see rumblings that the latest US budget is pushing for bigly increases on capital gains taxes, minimum taxes on billionaires, and not allowing tax-loss harvesting on crypto

I love it man but will likely be a big weather change from BC, so you need to be prepared to endure that. Calgary and Edmonton are pretty much where it's at in the province.

Talked to my wife about the weather, and she said what I was thinking. Snow for 8 months or rain for 10 months of the year, what's the difference? She's inside the house most of the time anyways.


What are some decent high paying jobs there?

True, and with the money saved on real estate you can probably fly somewhere tropical every winter for the next 30 years.
