What's the story behind your username?

I'm wondering what's the story behind others' usernames? Why'd you choose it? What's it mean? etc.

Mine is the title of a Goosebumps horror novel by R. L. Stine.

I made this username because I got slapped with a false accusation by a crazy bish. Nothing came of it and nobody believed her but I was going to make a detailed post about it to share the story. Ended up never actually telling how I was a scapegoat.

When I lifted in my mid/early 20s, I was a classic hardgainer and nothing really grew or got bigger, with the one exception of my traps which blew up in size.

My username started out in late '90s early 2000s online gaming, I think the first place was in the MSN Zone playing Age of Empires 2.

Originally it was something like PM_Destroyer, PM were the initials of my guild. The details are a bit fuzzy now but think I ended up wanting to drop the PM_, either in Age of Empires or switching to another game (Star Wars Galaxies), but Destroyer was too common of a name. This happened during the l33t speak craze in the 2000s, and I either changed my name to D3str0y3r or came up with D3st0r right off the bat and switched to that. When the l33t speak craze passed, it geared down to Destor.


You can still find some of my archived early 2000s SWG stuff by searching D3st0r
