Man I feel really sad right now

Depression hitting hard tonight
brb haven’t met one vaxcel who doesn’t get defensive or mad when you tell them you didn’t get it.

No “vax” for HIV after 40 years of research. No vax for cancer after 100 years of research. No vax for the common cold and yet a virus mysteriously appears and Within 12 months a “vax” is found by 4 pharma companies all within 1 week and we are mandated to take it ….

Is there anything misk can do for you?

Do you have a good IRL support system?

Yea I slip into depressive phases often. Sometimes your body chemistry just chits itself for no reason. Like a car breaking down, some people have crappier bodies than others, srs.

Go for a walk or a bike ride, it always clears my head and puts things into perspective. Weather has been total ass for the past few days and I havent been able to get outside much, and its been impacting my mood

Never understood why people say this type of sht. How sad and miserable do you have to be to say this to someone you know absolutely nothing about, even in a joking manner.

Hang in there.

Many of us have been through similar.

Sometimes there are circumstances that cause these feelings, which are subtle and hard to identify, leading to the theory that there's a general chemical imbalance. And there are probably actual chemical imbalances for some people.

Sometimes it is uncertainty about the future, dissatisfaction with one's job, the feeling of not being ready to be a parent, financial worries, past trauma or PTSD, leading to the feelings of depression.

Regardless, hit my PMs if you need someone to talk to outside of a public thread. srs

Edit: Vitamin D mentioned above is a good recommendation. You can get a test for possible deficiency from your doctor.

Also what really helps me is to just breathe. Often when my head is spiralling with negative thoughts I take 10min to myself and just focus on my breath. You dont worry about all the stresses piling up on you, only thing that matters is that you're still breathing. I always feel way calmer afterwards. And often your perspective will shift. Its an easy form of meditation that gets me through many rough patches
