what I dont agree is telling ugly men that they can make up for it with the right behaviours. Those things dont come into play unless you pass the barrier of looks in the first place. and that barrier is getting higher and higher.

But the problem is that most ugly guys behave in unattractive ways, and most good looking guys behave in attractive ways, ERGO, it is extremely difficult to parse out the effects of behaviour.

If more ugly men acted alpha and more good looking men acted beta, I think you’d be able to clearly see just how important behaviour is. But we live in reality and that’s not how things go. Uggos are more likely to behave in low-status ways, and Chads are more likely to behave in high-status ways.

In addition, you can’t just simply “will” behaviour into existence. It has to come from somewhere. For example, Chad gets a lot of his confident behaviour from his looks. Quasimodo ain’t getting any confidence from his hunchback, so it has to come from elsewhere, and though possible that is certainly not easy.

Stopped going to night clubs, because everywhere I go it's a sausage fest. Had these ridiculous nights where the club was filled with 90% males. Women go to clubs less and less, because they get all the attention and Chads from dating apps/insta.
