I'll take a 7.5 (think my wife is an easy 8-8.5), that has morales, strong family values, good work ethic, thrifty but not penny pinching, educated, loving to fam, putting God above all else, etc over a 9 or 10 any day.

Looks can fade fast, values do not

You get used to whatever you have. Guy with a new Camry and a new Lexus both feel the same way about their car after a year. Guys hitting a 7 or a 9 feel the same level of interest after a couple of years.
