Less a failure of regulation and more a failure of knowing that the fck they were doing. From what I've seen 90+% of their assets were Treasuries with a 10 yr plus maturity, and no hedging of their interest rate risk. Good job guys!

If the little birdie is to be believed, the bankers and execs at SVB managed to squeeze in their bonuses before it went tits up, and many of them sold their shares in anticipation. I hope that's true, I'd hate to think they might not be able to buy this years AMG.
