Chad theory is generally true in OLD. The whole concept of hookup culture based on an on-line profile encourages the completely superficial 80/20 stuff. There are plenty of women who have completely rejected this culture in favor of looking for more meaningful attachments, but you can't look for them on dating apps (and you yourself need to be looking for a relationship, not just hook-ups, and need to have reasonable standards).

The old time hookup culture was in a bar, and women were limited to the men in the bar at the time. With OLD (Tinder, etc.), women are no longer constrained to just the men physically in their presence, so Tinder and whatnot have shifted the power structure for hook ups towards women, but it doesn't work for women seeking more meaningful relationships because the men left on dating apps are just pump and dump fukk bois, which is not what a lot of women are looking for.

This is true online for a number of reasons, NOT in general. The idea that a woman simply will not date a gut from the 80% and legitimately like him and be happy is nonsense.
