Why do female colleagues tell you they're on their period at work

One girl I'm doing group project with was stressed today so I talked to her and gave her some support, she tells me she's on her period and suffering health wise from it

What the **** am I supposed to do with this information srs?

Why don't they keep it to themselves dead srs

Because periods are shamed. We need to be more accepting of women have periods which effects them, they can't help it. Just like you can't help from catching the flu.

This. Never had a girl tell me that who wasn’t a srs girlfriend.

But I’ve smelled a sloot on her period at work before. We were walking down the stairs to the parking garage and the whiff hit me in the face like an uppercut from Mike Tyson. She was a whale so you can imagine the smells…
