Not really. Children aren't going unaccompanied. People who think it's a grievous issue probably wouldn't and shouldn't attend or take their kids.

Similar to gay marriage. If someone is opposed to gay marriage, they shouldn't get gay married

I don't get upset about something happening that I'm not attending. I don't watch sports, but I don't care if others do or if they take their children.

Yeah, no shiit Sherlock. Nobody disputes that either.

The question remains though of WHY do these circus freaks want to perform for/read to/hang out with children. You ****ggots argue about and defend this sick shiit for days, yet not a single one of you will ever answer that one simple question. Will you.

Yeah? Now do a Klan rally...

Just a harmless cross burning, right?
It's a hot night. The mind races. You think about your knife: the only friend who hasn't betrayed you, the only friend who won't be dead by sunup. Sleep tight mates, in your quilted chambray night shirts.

I did answer that.

First, I don't think reading stories in a library with parents present qualifies as "sick shiit".

Second, I think the people involved and parents who bring their kids are looking to introduce aspects of society in a controlled environment. Maybe to spark questions and dialogue with their kids.
Yeah? Now do a Klan rally...

Just a harmless cross burning, right?
I wouldn't attend that either.

You asked me for conjecture; I provided it.

If you think there are other reasons, please share.

I assumed that was obvious since we're discussing a drag queen story time event.
I didn't ask if you would attend it dumbfuk.
What did you ask?

You ordered that I "now do a Klan rally".

No thanks.

They aren't illegal, but not something I'm interested in and therefore aren't something I'll be hosting/attending/doing.

Why do you continue to not follow the peeedo king pat's advice, and not post in these threads about what you guys get up to in your spare time. Why are you not doing as ordered?

He's going to be so mad at you, and might have another meltdown.

Child grooming is befriending and establishing an emotional connection with a minor under the age of consent, and sometimes the child's family, to lower the child's inhibitions with the objective of sexual abuse.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_grooming

Now here's your reasons...

Can we all just agree drag queening is weird and sexualized and putting it around kids is weird as well? I don't think this is a left/right issue. I'm a hardcore leftist and support lgbt rights, but I don't see what wearing drag has to do with any of this. If you're a drag queen, dress like a normal person and read to kids. Nobody needs to see your balls hanging out. Sure, it's not a crime for drag queen story hr to exist. But it is also weird.

I don't think participants have their balls hanging out.

Even if all balls are contained, it's not the kinda thing I'd attend.

Most don't. But some do. I think it is important for people to learn to be accepting of LGBT. But drag queening is just inappropriate around kids. Would a drag queen show up to court in drag? If not, then they shouldn't be around kids in drag imo.

By sugarcoating their true intentions. What, you don't think they'd put up neon signs saying "We're going to fuk your children" do you? Same with the priests that you tried to use in your arguments before it fell apart.

FML there is nothing about this that you will not defend, is there. We could probably say something as generic as "I bet they sign their paychecks with a blue pen" and you'd probably take offense to and argue about it wouldn't you.

I don't think all, or many, drag queens want to have sex with children.

I'm not defending drag queens, I'm opposing banning things based on some individuals' preference or comfort.

You were pretty sure that all catholic priests have sex with children earlier in the discussion.

Hint: ONE is too many. Ergo **** accepting or trying to normalize ANY of them.

I don't think any want to have sex with children. That doesn't mean children should be exposed to the sexual overtones of drag performers.

Nor did I suggest banning churches or eradicating priests as a preventative measure.

Imo, if someone feels there are sexual overtones at story time, they should not attend or bring their children.

That's fair. If that's your opinion, I presume you wouldn't take kids to story time, which at present is completely voluntary with no repercussions for those who do not attend.

Merely disagreeing with the situation will get the woke mob to come after you, so I dont know why you are feigning this "they just want to be left alone" attitude, because thats clearly not the situation.

Drag queens in itself is a sexualization of their preferences, why do we need to expose children to any of this? Youre telling me its not more than just reading to children? They are trying to normalize sexuality to little kids, why does anyone feel the need to figure out why a man dresses like a woman to a 3 year old?

Correct, I will not. however I think we should not allow children to attend these just like we would not allow stripper story time.

I think we should make a rule about what is and is not acceptable drag. Fully clothed in loose clothing covering genitals? It's fine. Not? Then no. Also, no twerking, sexy dancing or anything. Just reading and sing alongs are fine. Material must be age appropriate.

I don't think everyone shares your opinion that it's sexual any and every time someone impersonates another gender.
