It's nice to see how our society has normalized the concept of sexualizing children. Also...for the first time in my life, I agree with feminist about how we are living in a patriarchal country full misogyny. Women aren't just being turned into 2nd class citizens...men are now trying to completely erase them as a whole...and what's the reason behind this madness? Well as a society, we now covet the feelings of less than 1% of the population of men who happen to be mentally ill sexual deviants over the safety of children and rights of women.

I'm a Nhilist and ALL religion and spirituality is nothing more than voodoo to me but in my personal opinion...this is what happens when a society turns its back on the teachings of Christianity.

Where did he say that? It was probably the "interacting with kids" part he was referring to.

As I've said before - putting this shyt in front of small and very impressionable young children is troubling. A portion of kids, who aren't legit trans, are likely to see this shyt (having adults paraded around in front of them and the like) and think that's the "cool" thing to be or whatever and then...start wanting to be or identifying as a trans because again...they see it as "cool". I mean, there's been various points in history (including 80's hair metal and times in France) were being very androgynous or effeminate was the really "in" thing. I think it's dangerous to assume that with all of these surgeries/hormone therapies/the agenda going on that a lot of those same people (who would likely regret it later) might have been considering "gender reassignment" or the like.

Except what you are saying is isomorphic to:

"We don't want them using public bathrooms, playing sports, using locker rooms, and we'd rather put them in solitary confinement or condemn them to be violently raped and/or murdered." And you also want to pretend they don't exist.

There is no nice way to assign them to bathrooms, sports, or prisons because we constrained ourselves to "2 genders" and dichotomized everything. What needs to happen is a more careful approach of how we assign who goes where. And we need to make prisons safer in general and stop treating rape as an acceptable punishment for crime.

What you are describing is basically conversion therapy in reverse. It didn't work. It doesn't work. You can't environmentally change a person's gender or sexuality. If you could, people would ungay gays.

I think the vast majority of people who are srsly considering transitioning are pretty fking trans dude. Even if they regret it later, which some do, the vast majority do not. And it is understandably hard for them. Society should try to help these people, not laugh at them.

Here's a weird concept...if you expect people to accept your lifestyle, you need to oblige them with the same respect when it comes to their faith. 1) So set hormone limits in sports.
2) So make prison safer.
3) There is a difference between reasonable use of locker room and indecent exposure. Witnesses can complain and file charges.

so you haven't listened to anyone that has detransitioned then. You should check that out.

People have said they were pressured/encouraged by teachers and counsellors/medical proffesionals associated with trans support groups. One of the biggest things is that as soon as a kid says they have that they feel like the opposite sex they have been hit with "well if you feel that way it just means you are trans" and it continues from there.

I have. But again, the whole body of research suggests it is helpful. There are going to be some number of people who regret it. And they would most likely blame those around them for the decision. It really can't be that simple. I'm pretty sure it starts with "you MIGHT be trans".

I'll also add there is no perfect policy. You choose the least bad one. Some number of people are going to undergo reassignment and regret it. But do the benefits outweigh the costs for more people? If the answer is yes, you leave it. I'll also add that most trans afaik from the data do not actually undergo surgery. That's understandably a pretty extreme thing.

uh no - that's been the beauty of it - since trans is a spectrum it is not might be trans, to some advocates if you have ever thought about being the opposite sex then you are trans. And this is exactly what people who have detransitioned have said.

It is actually - the perfect policy is that you do not allow children to make permanent bodily changes via hormones and physical restraint devices and surgeries. Just like we say kids under 18 are not fully developed enough to make a decision on a tattoo or mature enough to handle alcohol. Pretty simple actually.
