It's Saturday morning - what are your weekend plans?
Currently sipping on a few cups of black coffee (see crews below about what's about to happen next). Recovering from epic cheat meal yesterday evening. Listening to some new STP tunes out of curiosity. Weekend plans include going shopping for a couple things and hitting my recording studio to put in some hours on a project I'm working on. I don't lift during the weekends anymore, it's my quiet time. Also gonna go for a hike and organize a bit. Pretty uneventful, business as usual. Also need to get it together and find time to work on my pilsner recipe.
What about you? Anything fun planned?

A bit of work, house organization, meeting a guy for coffee later to talk about a new project, NCAA basketball and friends over for dinner. Braised short ribs.

I'm still working on my recipe. I've been brewing lagers for a few years and I have my temp control setup nicely. I use 2 fridges for the process. Primary fermentation in a modified wine chiller fridge set at 50-ish and then my cold storage ('lagering') in a large gutted fridge set to just above freezing temps. Beer turns out crisp and tight as piss my boyo.
I've never brewed a pilsner but I think it's going to be the ultimate test of accrued brewing knowledge and skills over the past decade. There is literally no room to hide flaws. I've made vienna lagers, bocks, and dunkels and they all came out nicely. I'm thinking a lightly hopped pils using mostly just pilsner malt and some German hops like saphir. I'm aiming for something close to the pivo pils Firestone Walker brew. Will definitely make a thread once that's ready, probably mid-summer.

Miscing 12 hours a day while I'm stuck on a drilling rig. All my work is done, but they're most likely going to keep me around until the equipment is fully deployed "just in case."

Currently in the gym hitting chest, shoulders, and tris for maximum pump in a tank top today. Going to a housewarming/St.Paddyโs party this afternoon for lots of drinks and a cigar or two. Should be able to catch up with some friends I havenโt seen in a while as well so that should be nice. No telling what tomorrow holds, probably depends on how much damage is done today.

Taking my son to the gym today, I got him a membership a couple weeks ago for his 13th birthday.
Tomorrow, I will probably work. My audit is out of control this year.

Drink this coffee, do some work, and go home to rest my leg that I pulled a calf muscle in yesterday.

Drinking coffee right now, probably try to start and hopefully finish my taxes this weekend. Going for a hike tomorrow in the mountains, trying to find some waterfalls with all this rain.

Looks like I'll be relaxing. Bit fatigued from workouts of late. I'll likely work on the yard then. Easy work and there is always something needing to be addressed around the house.

^^ looks like everyone here has some fun, varied stuff planned. I just went out to the grocery store that was having pissening sales, especially on meat. People hovering around like vultures and just grabbing everything they can. Got some ultra lean meats for 3.99 a pound, which is an incredible price here. Weighed them all out in 300g balls and stuck them all in freezer bags for future use during this cut I'm on. Ultra organized. Gonna hit the studio after I finish eating this chilli.

Relax. Have drank the last two days with various St Patricks Day crap, and I'm looking forward to gym and watching basketball.

Taking a rest weekend
Going to an arcade then celebrating a birthday today
Sunday, have a massage scheduled. Possibly will play board games with my friends in evening if they still want to.
General cleaning, drawing, and playing the piano sprinkled in throughout the days in the spare time.
