Mueller found wrongdoing and referred it to federal prosecutors in NY, while he focused on possible campaign finance violations from the Trump Tower meeting.

What wrong doing did he find and why wasn't it pursued by Federal prosecutors? Why is NY State going after him instead?

this was always the end game goal for blue anon. they radicalized their people so far gone that they had no choice but to eventually make their fantasies come true and put trump in cuffs.

An AG can charge you with pretty much anything they want. However, that doesn't mean anything is goign to stick. From there a grand jury has to decide if it can go to trial and from that point, an actual jury needs to be convinced that he is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Uphill battle for a diversity hire AG. The way Trump is like "'bring it" should be a red flag. Is Trump bluffing, or is he saying "come into my trap"? Trumpp doesn't bluff and he's not good at hiding his intentions, and doesn't bluff, he comes right at you. No doubt, Trump has something up his sleeve on this and is well prepared.

They only charged Cohen at the time because Trump was president, and idk but they may have considered the statute of limitations expired when he left office. NY has some law iirc that stops the clock during a period where you can't be charged, so now that he's out of office they may consider him fair game.

However, AFAIK the feds didn't announce why they didn't charge Trump...so it's some speculation that was discussed in the press.

The wrongdoing is campaign finance violation, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and enhancement to felony because of the structured payments to Cohen trying to hide the scheme...which is money-laundering. Afaik.

I *think* it's because the business expense in question occured in New York...which may get enhanced to a felony because of the structuring of payments to hide it...if I'm remembering what I've heard in the news right.
