ChatGPT can basically replace all non-tradie jobs

You can currently take a pic of your fridge and it can give you recipes with groceries you have in there.

It can review your bills for errors. Will do your taxes soon.

Write an essay, a novel, a technical paper.

Write a program, can even make a video game from scratch.

It can even give you legal advice and generate a lawsuit.

Everyone’s tour is over. Name one non tradie job it wont be able to handle soon?

The jobs least threatened by AI are those which require genuine, novel and original thought. Why? Because AI isn't performing or exhibitinggenuinecognition or novel or creative thought. This is simply what computers cannot do. The anti-AI position is still as strong as ever.

Yeah, and I've asked it to recommend books and articles on various topics. Frequently, it just literally made chit up. Usually a fabricated book title but with an actual real author to make it look legitimate. Another time I asked it to read an article and summarize it, and it just made up a bunch of chit about some other article which wasn't the one I linked to.

Your basement level IQ cant do math either.

Anyone who thinks AI is a bigger threat to tradies than office workers has no idea how the world works. Until you have created something that can actually replace the physical labor and skills of a trained person, AI is not a threat to them. What AI is going to install a switch board or a heater?

However if you sit behind a desk all day while you post things on the internet yearning for communism and death camps for those white people you hate so much, then you are in a huge amount of trouble. (and I am not just talking about your mental illness, living with your parents as an adult or sexless type of trouble either)

Im in finance and my PE firm is already using ChatGPT to spit out basic templates for things like NDA's, pitch decks, contracts, market summaries, etc. Once it reaches the point where it can start building out financial models and presentations off base inputs? Lol, good luck.

Start leaning how to lay bricks.

cost of a robot that can match manual dexterity of a human is much greater than the cost to employ low skilled labor. manufacturing robots have a long history of use and are pretty established where it is cost effective.

AI first will take over jobs that do not require a physical body

Years ago I noticed that ******** had "fun quizzes" like "What kid of wizard would you be" and since I studied psychological testing, I noted that these quizzes were psych tests.

I told people here and on ******** but of course I was laughed at.

It turns out that the quizzes were psych tests on ******** used for marketing.

A year or two ago, ******** had an "age your face" fad going on and really it was to get you to take a pic of your face for facial recognition data bases.

Now I am seeing this ChatGPT things talked about EVERYWHERE and it's giving me the vibe that it's some kind of spyware.

I was researching it last night.
