My HBB gf of 3 yrs just broke up w me.. WHAT DO [SRS]

Boyos.... im in a wreck.

My gf, who has been a perfect partner to me for the last 3 years, has been on edge to leave the relationship over the last few weeks because of my behaviour. TBH, if I was in her shoes I would've left a while ago.

I'm a hot head and have been pretty disrespectful to her in our arguments and it the frequency of arguing has left her feeling disrespected. We had a bad argument a few days ago and, yesterday, completely calm, she told me she wants to end things and sent me a really nice message about it thanking me for the memories etc.

I obv took the relationship and her for granted and its been 12hrs since she broke up w me but its really settling in now and im losing it.

In the past, I've always found that ending things respectfully and going NC has ALWAYS, without fail, brought them back. And I choose at that point if I want to or not.

Im deciding between going back to her and trying to work things out or going with my tried and true method of NC, let her come back to me, and be better going forward.

Need misc wisdom here.

Cliffs:
OP perfect girl of 3 yrs breaks up w OP because of OP's behavior
OP recognizes he is wrong
OP immediately recognizes he wants to get back with her
Should OP accept the break up gracefully, go NC and have her come back (as women do) or attempt to reconcile while the emotions are still fresh?

It's over boyo. Once they decide to leave it's a done deal. They may go out like a stray cat and fuk a few dudes and then come back to you to "work things out". But by that point it's going to be a repeating pattern of break up/make up nonsense. I lasted 4-5 rounds with an ex of mine before I said fuk it, "I'm done". No more of that chit for me. These days if she wants to go, it's "goodbye and good luck", then immediate NC. That goes for anyone, ain't nobody got time to chase people around and convince them to stick around.

Getting her back won't fix the problem that caused you to breakup though.

Regardless of what happens on that front, better get ready for the self-help books/podcasts/therapy and subsequent changes you gotta make.
