Blackstone to collapse?

-They've defaulted on large loan payments, multiple times in recent months.
-They've refused to let investors take out their money since last year, capping how much could be taken out monthly.
-To be honest I think some of their REITs will fail, especially those exposed to European housing markets, but the company as a whole will not. They seem to have enough cash on hand that they can shift money around. Unfortunately if some of their funds do fail it's going to hurt pensioners in multiple countries, including the US.
Yeah Buddyyy! Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!

It isn't one company that's the problem. The entire banking system is corrupt.
Banking went woke, now it's going broke.

Why tell your bank your political positions? Not their business. My bank doesn't know my political positions. No companies I do business with know my political positions.

No need to inform your bank you are conservative or liberal. Why would you?

Other posters: Don't confuse Blackstone with BlackRock. BlackRock has $9T+ of assets under management.

I don't know you, but fuk you and your self-proclaiming wizard BS. Never bought a political hat and I haven't even voted in the past 16 years. Never donated to a political org.

Glad to make a new enemy.

I am financially independent and got that way by being publicly politically unaffiliated.

Blackstone is just making strategic default maneuvers / especially in assests/ liabilities involving office space (real estate sector)- a sector that is suffering bad.

On one hand they are pressuring Las Vegas office space payment , European cmds's, etc

Some liabilities they can actually completely pat off for 500 million.

Then in the other hand they are still doing stuff like this....

The reit sector has walk away as part of life.
