Woman at work being a bitch to me

-my work colleagues were on break yesterday and I talked to her, she started roasting me saying I'm a bad person, psycho, big ego, said I was in the closet etc
-i said to her I've been nice to her and don't know why she's saying stupid ass **** to me. I told her I'm not sensitive but just asked why she was roasting me in front of everyone when it's unwarranted
-today I was the first one into the office, she walked in and I greeted her. She ignored me, then I said you not going to say hi? Then she carried on ignoring me
-later one of my friends said she was bragging to one of her close female colleagues about blanking me at work today.

I did try to hit on this girls friend tho, and she was feeling me but I cut it off before I got #MeToo'd

Why you think this girl is being a bitch? My friends wanted to talk to her and say her behaviour was inappropriate and even contemplated reporting get to a manager but I said it's a mistake from her and to let it go

But you are being a pushover if you let her get away with it. Moreover if you want to be a good person a lesson needs to be taught. If you dont do anything then she'll think that behavior is okay and start behaving that way to someone else. The right thing to do is to nip it in the bud before she gets too cocky.

I have really good colleagues that have said they are very close to raising the issue with her. On a last warning as one said, so if **** carries on then I fully believe they will do my bidding.

It pays to be nice to your colleagues I guess. They're loyal and will stand up for you. In theory anyway. But I know I would stand up for my friends of colleagues

I think I handled it correctly. When she was roasting me in front of others I was like damn I've been nice to you, why you attacking me like this
She just carried on and said I had a fragile ego

But then she carried on talking behind my back saying stuff and my friends keep telling me the **** they hear. I haven't said anything to her but I said to my colleagues if it happens again just remind her she's at the work place and she's making inappropriate comments.

Very shortsighted imo.

Either lodge a complaint in person with hr with a written copy or send email with read receipt, cc to yourself.

If she does it again that would be second incident and then a final warning usually will follow and then termination. Lodge a complaint so you can establish a pattern of behavior. If you let it slide its possible hr could just ignore it especially if you bring it up verbally.

Birches WOULD NOT give you the same courtesy you are offering. Remember that.
