99% of the misc couldn't get 50k without getting a loan, but I could see one of them doing it.
"Took out a loan for 50k (@ 8% interest) to put in this CD boyos. DED FKIN SRS. Be rolling in a lambo come next September. You mirin???"

There’s no minimum deposit required to open your account, and you can withdraw your full balance and interest any time after the first 6 days of funding your CD. Plus, we don’t charge monthly maintenance fees.

In fact, Ally Bank offers CDs in a wide range of terms to help you reach your savings goals. There's no minimum deposit to open and all of our CDs are backed by the Ally Bank Ten Day Best Rate Guarantee. When the Penalty Doesn’t Apply
The EWP doesn’t apply in the following cases:
• No Penalty CD: This CD doesn’t allow withdrawals during the first 6 calendar
days following the date you first funded your account—in other words, you
can’t close your account until 7 calendar days after the day you first put
money in your account. After that, you can withdraw the full balance and
accrued interest without penalty
