Could you rebuild society if everything and everyone was gone?

but all infrastructures are completely wiped, no buildings, no cars, no books, no internet etc, just grass and chit

could you rebuild society and create electricity, build houses and chit?

I'm not gonna lie, I'm dumb af, I'd be living in a hut until i die and wouldnt accomplish anything, i dont even know how to make electricity (srs), i couldnt even start a fire. I'd probably die within the next 5 years

You can't rebuild society with two people.

Everyone would be retarded and deformed in a couple generations. You need a very large number of people.

I could rebuild society philosophically but not materially.

I do not know how to build houses, weapons, or medical gear. So, the goal would be to scavenge as much as possible and center living around libraries to protect the knowledge of the past in the hopes that some future person could figure it all out.

Boyo you cant build a spear, i aint buying it. I cant even start a fire. You have to realize you have nothing, most of your time is gonna be spent looking for food and surviving

For those rare people who know how to start a fire with nothing, there's an entire group of them who will suffocate/asphyxiate from not properly ventilating the fire inside their shelter.

For survival purposes, I did complete SERE.

It doesn’t make you an expert in the field, but I def feel like I would use a number of the skills I was introduced to there.

What would I need a spear for? I’m sure I could make one. All you need are some snares to catch rabbit, you can make those out of small vines. I’d sharpen their bones for knives and I could use their guts inside a fish trap. I can also make a friction fire to cook.

I've watched cast away, it took that mother fuker ages to make fire. I dont think it would be that easy




i genuinely think it would take me months to start a fire. you literally have to walk everywhere, we aint got cars or bikes lolz
