So PJ Brooks Never Watched a Single ROCKY Movie?
I read news that he posted and quickly deleted this.
“SIGH. I wasn’t cleared to come back to wrestle yet. Then plan was to wrestle at the ppv. I sat and listened to moxleys Rocky three idea. I explained how I’d never seen a Rocky movie. I and thought the idea sucked but if the boss wanted to do it whatever. He said he wouldn’t lose to me. I’d never experienced someone refusing to lose to me. I just laughed. I asked Tony [Khan] if this was what he wanted. He said yes. He’s the boss so I said okay but I’d need to be cleared first. They kept saying it could just be a squash so I didn’t need to be cleared. I scoffed at that. My health is more important.
Dave Meltzer is a liar. [Chris] Jericho is a liar and a stooge. There were plans but plans always change but I’ll never put a company above my health ever again.”

Is Rocky 3 the one with Hulk Hogan? I don’t remember enough about the movie to understand what Moxley was talking about.
Tony Khan pushing an injured (and not cleared) guy to wrestle even in a squash is surprising given the type of reputation he’s attempted to cultivate.

Really it was a stupid weird angle, Punk losing quickly then somehow hyped up 1 week later for a rematch? AEW loves to give it away for free and then wonders why people don't get the PPV.
I quit watching by then, but apparently Moxley had a booboo face jobbing to MJF and they had a bad match? Anyone confirm? Moxley is a mark for himself is my take away here, although Punk should have seen at least the first two Rocky movies for fuk's sake.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

In real life, only people I know who havent seen a single Rocky movie are women or young guys. And I am not even from US.
Either Brooks is lying or have really bad movie choices.

I’ve seen em all and own them all
That makes me a better man than him.
Being a comic book nerd is no excuse
I read them for years and always been a huge Rocky fan. Rocky 3 was vital to the success of Wrestlemania 1. And he never even cared to watch it? Rocky 3 made wrestling as big as it Is today and it’s what made your career and paid your bills you little sh*t! I oughtta smack him!!

Surprised he didn't follow that up with "I've seen better boxing films but you've probably never heard of them."

Tony Khan needs to get control of his locker room.

Tony Khan let Mox walk around as AEW Champion without being under contract. What a mess of a company.
