That husband should be embarrassed. IDGAF if someone says **** to me about me, its whatever. Say **** to my kid or my wife in front of me and there will be physical confrontation. Dont care if it ends up with me getting my ass beat but Im sure as hell not going to sit there and watch my wife and kid get verbally assaulted.

There’s people screaming on the subway everyday all kinds of bs. Nothing new. I’ve been on the train with screamers near me. I take my wife by the hand and walk away keeping an eye on them.

I agree and I'm not saying I'd stomp the black dude out but I know I'd have at least stood up and smiled at his insults. Then if he walks toward me I'd have every reason to throw him to the ground, which isn't hard to do, and hold him there. Potential situations like that are why it helps being broad shouldered, noticeable arms and having a poker face. Strangers approach my wife to tell her how beautiful our kids are on a regular basis. Not me, they step out of the way. I don't even think I'm real big (215) but people get out of my way and it's usually not subtle. I think more than size it's my default emotionless face that I didn't have when I was a young chap and wanted everyone to like me. Through experience I've also learned to try not looking like a tourist even if I am one.
