Former Falcons’ QB Marcus Mariota reached agreement with the Philadelphia Eagles on a one-year, $5 million deal worth up to $8 million, per source. Mariota is expected to be the Eagles’ No. 2 QB this season.

What other options do they have?
Packers wanting a 1st round pick for a 39 year old with a huge contract and a year or 2 left in the league is too much.

The issue with Lamar is so endlessly fascinating from multiple angles.
First, if had an agent from day 1 there's a strong chance he would have ended up on a different team than the Ravens. He would have been marketed better, differently, and who knows what might have been.
Second, I think it shows a certain level of immaturity. Call it "betting on yourself" or whatever catch phrases all you want, there's a reason why all the greats have usedprofessionalrepresentation. I can only imagine how the bargaining discussions go with his MOM standing in for him.
Third, the Deshaun Watson situation really threw a monkey wrench into his future goals big time. While most sensible people view his fully guaranteed mega deal as an anomaly, Mr. Wonderlic Score 13 can't get past it and thinks he's entitled to something comparable it seems. The Ravens must be so pissed at the Browns for pulling that move lol.

He can still keep his mom as a representative AND have a top tier agent. And in the long run, a good agent will find additional sponsors so the money you pay the agent will be made back anyway.

Patriots sign Mike Gesiski to one year deal worth up to $9 million. Not happy he went to a division rival. Hopefully Fangio will have a plan to stop him from torching us like many ex Dolphin players have done in the past. But then again, it looks like the Patriots are rolling with Mac Jones lmao

Oh wait, that was the greatest defensive performance in super bowl history by the goat Bill Belichick.
Brady owes his rings in large part to Bill Belichick.
