Single guy life in my 30s starting to hit. Over the years I've been going out less and less, lately not at all. It's a combination of circumstances, such as working a full time job and my friends have moved away and are also busy with their jobs. Not to mention two of them got into a relationship around the same time and are in the honeymoon phase so I hardly communicate with them anymore. I'll give them their space, I understand how it goes. But it's definitely not as easy to make new friends in your 30s, plus as an introvert I'm picky who I befriend.

I go home from work and play video games/watch TV, so now I'm thinking of making some changes. Would probably be a good idea to join a hobby and meet other people, and also put effort into meeting a girl from online dating or something. I guess I already know what I should be doing, more of a vent post and curious if anyone else is/been in a similar situation?

Meet people at your local gym or gay bars.

Meh, I don't feel like the local gym is the best place to meet people. Most people including me rather keep the earbuds in and focus on my workout. Thinking more of a sport like a hockey beer league

Yea going out sucks, traffic, lines etc. Bars add up and I always seem to get into fights

I never go out anymore either. What would I do if I went out anyway, stare at my phone while paying out the angus to have some bird walk out food to me that a disgruntled chef just got done hastily slapping together, or what, I mean come on

I heard gay dudes make good wingmen so maybe boyo.True. Seems like every bar is a sausage fest, not really my thing anymore. A good night to me nowadays would be coming to home a cool chick and chillin/going out occasionally
