The US's population distribution really isn't all that different from Canada's, the Great Lakes region has a massive chunk of both straddling the border there. The remainder of the US pop is mostly along the coasts in California (similar to BC), Texas, and Florida

The benefit of being an American is you have way more options in terms of where you can live with varying climates and demographics

For example you’re born in the NE but want to live in a tropical climate you can move to Florida or Cali or maybe you want that country lifestyle so you do Montana, or maybe you’re a big Latina guy so you do Miami … there is a state for everyone

Also just look at the number of cool cities - nyc, Boston, LA, San Diego, Dallas, Chicago, Raleigh and the list just goes on and on

In Canada you literally have two options - Toronto or Vancouver… like there isn’t anything you can do if you work a white collar job besides live in those two cities
