Thats only one interpretation. By living document does that mean it can be interpreted by future generations how they see fit, or are its principles transcendent and applicable to modern situations. I tend to think the latter, which is why free speech applies to modern forms of media, and the second amendment applies to ar-15s, the principle has remained the same throughout history.

If by 'living document' you mean can only be altered by the Amendment Process (must be approved by a two-thirds vote of both houses, ratification by three-fourths of the states) then yes, I suppose you could consider it that.
If by 'living document' you mean 'can be interpreted differently depending on current events, or interpreted differently because people and/or technology has changed', then NO, it's not a living document.

Like one of the posters above said, there are already laws to keep mentally ill people from owning firearms. Most Trans people would probably fall into that category.

Right, so you can't own any firearms made after 1776 or whatever year that constitution was written and you don't have free speech on platforms made after 1776. You couldn't be more wrong. The constitution would be completely useless and basically non-existent if it wasn't a "living document".

That's not what "living document" means though.

You quite literally need to look at current technology, weaponry etc, define it and then see whether it falls under free speech or the 2A or whatever. But most miscers don't come further than quoting a few words out of a single sentence of a single article of the constitution and they call it a day.
