This is the whole thing right here. If they're going to do something like this, they better have the evidence to convict him, too, or else it will 100% blow back on them. We'll see when the trial comes, but if charges are dropped or the trial is an obvious sham, it'll be Trump's victory.

It's unequivocally great for Trump's media empire that will facilitate his continued bilking of the rubes, and that's what is reflected in that bump. It will definitely get the cult frothing at the mouth. Whether it helps his electoral chances depends on what the evidence is and how the trial goes.
